Citrus Fizz

I've decided to name this new dress as it is so citrusy and bright!

I started this just over a week ago, which doesn't seem like a long time to knit up a dress, but I got an abnormal number of knitting hours in due to car travel and outdoor play supervision.

This yarn was given to me, which is a great saver, but it appears it wasn't quite enough to make a full dress, rather it produced a mini dress.

I'm really happy with the end result, despite a number of errors. In particular, my circular knitting needles have a crack in the cable, which snagged the yarn quite a bit. This made little holes in the dress, most of which I've managed to massage back into place. I'm not too worried though as it's OFMK (only for my kid) and as such doesn't need to be perfect.  I'd be quite happy to receive advice from other knitters about their needle of choice as I really do need to get new ones before my next project, or I might search ravelry for recommendations.

The fit is perfect. I made a 12 month size and I'm quite confident it will fit all summer long, without it looking huge right now on her little 10 month old body.
