So I've been a Ravelry member for a while now, but have only recently realised how awesome it is!!
I've been quietly plugging away at a crochet dress for Adele for a while now. It's the Bella Baby dress and I've made it in some lovely Melody yarn (cashmere blend) from Bendigo Woollen Mills. I'm not so keen on the colour, but am determined to finish it before I begin another project and I have a few in pipe.
I've recently purchased these knitting patterns from Tikki Fabric Adict: the Olearia cardigan and the Bloom dress.
Now I'm not the worlds best knitter, but I think I should be able to work my way through the cardigan. I'm planning on making the short sleeve shrug for Adele this summer and will probably use a smaller size needle to keep the garment small enough for her tiny body. The Bloom dress is a little above my ability, so have a friend of my mums pulling that together for me for Adeles first birthday.
If you have any tips for using Ravelry I'm all ears or you can look me up Betty555.
Anywho - must keep crocheting to finish this dress so I can begin the cardi....
Funny that, I joined Ravelry 2 days ago. I am yet to check it out.
