Did you know that? Because I did not.
Yesterday, I decided I needed a new dress to wear to Adele's baptism. I have sewn many dresses, but apparently I do not have one appropriate for my little girls baptism.
Adele is being baptised tomorrow and this is what I have.
I have received my vintage back wrap dress patterns and have muslined this one, Simplicity 5034, made modifications to the darts, waist and sleeves and have made a bodice with my lovely Liberty fabric, but I'm still not 100% happy with the dress, so the project has halted.
Tonight, I have enjoyed a night off work. We went out for dinner with the kids. I had a glass of wine (or two) and now, especially with this lovely Liberty fabric, I know I can't sew.
Tomorrow, I will wear a dress that I made earlier. All will be fine.
Enjoy your day tomorrow - that is all that matters:) I am attempting to do super women things this week - four beanies for friends that leave for Canada on Thursday for three years - ahhhhh
ReplyDeleteWell, I hope the baptism is great whatever you are wearing! And I look forward to seeing that liberty number at another, more sensible time...
