There's a little more talk about bonnets in my creative space today. You see, I seem to have a couple of peculiarities relating to colour and contrast when I make girl items.
I think it's because I had boys first, but I never seem to sew much pink for my babe. Now that I'm making bonnets, a few people have requested pink and I've realised my stash is quite pink deficient!!
I did manage to make this super cool bonnet for my little Adele, but here I've demonstrated my other sewing peculiarity - contrast.
I made a pink bonnet - hooray - but felt compelled to match it with yellow hedgehogs and blue straps!! Then I photographed it with little Adele in a green dress!!
Taking photos is becoming more and more challenging with this little one!
Now while I love contrast and am happy for my little one to wear no pink, I understand not all others are the same. For this reason I am now listing a 'design your own' bonnet in my shop. That way people can select their own two fabrics and a size that they need - they get what they want and I get to minimise my workload by making only what people want to buy.
How sweet is this bonnet!! I love this Anna Maria Horner fabric!
To end off I thought I'd say that I have listed my first review on Pattern Review for the dress that I finished yesterday. Can you believe in only 12 hours it has been viewed 234 times and has 10 comments!!

I think your own colour choices are great but you're right about others wanting different things and its a great idea to be able to offer a custom option.
