Bubbles, bubbles everywhere!

Clearly I'm a little obsessed with bubble themed clothes for my little one!

Here's another Sis Boom Bubble suit for tiny Adele. It was made with two different Sandi Henderson Meadowsweet fabrics from Hawthorne Threads.
I made a 12 month size which is quite big on Adele, but should fit nicely (I hope!) over summer. I haven't photographed the other side, it was just too hard to get her to cooperate.

I put ties on the back of this one, rather than buttons, but I'm not happy with my choice so I think I might try to replace them.

It's funny, I remember reading other people's blogs before my real sewing obsession took off and I used to think that people must parent less, when they sew a lot. Now I know I sew quite a bit, but I do still parent - I promise! The thing is, my kids go to bed at 7.30 and I stay up each night until at least 10.30 to give Adele a dream feed. That's three hours each night that I can sew. Most things that I make are quite simple and only need about this much time to pull together once they're cut. Anywho - that's my hang up right now. I do parent all day long, but give myself a few hours of quiet to create each night :)

I agree that putting the kids down at an early time and then the night feed is key to getting stuff done, be it sewing or you know, watching episodes of True Blood :) more of that on my blog soon.

Thanks for leaving a comment. I love reading them, but don't always have the time to respond. Please email me if you have a pressing question :)
