Crafting for the weather: Scalloped Cowl

Finally, I've made something suited to the cool weather in Sydney.  Well, it's chilly in the morning and at night.
These photos were incredibly rushed, no time to set the timer, just shoot and run.

The cowl was made with some Cleckheaton Folklore yarn, an alpaca wool blend, which I impulse purchased from Spotlight last year. The tag says I paid $2 per ball, but I'm pretty sure I got a further discount.
I didn't have a project in mind when I bought this and being such a chunky yarn, it limited my options. This cowl is a free download from Lion Brand Yarn and came together quickly and easily. I increased the length of the cowl to include one more repeat of the pattern as I wanted it to sit lower than pictured.

I'm so happy to use this yarn, as it was starting to give me the evil eye.

Details Raveled here.
