Today I am feeling a little less awesome than usual. Last night, we found ourselves partying a little too hard friends 40th and I may possibly have had just one wine too many.
I did manage to squeeze in a quick moment at the machine earlier today and made this new stripey, slouchy tee. It came out a little bigger than I expected, so I'm not sure if I'll keep it or give it to someone bigger. I used vintage Simplicity 5133, which I used to make this dress. I have another remnant of stretch fabric in my stash which will hopefully become a better fitting tee later this week.
Now to catch up.
Tuesday, 7 June - Housework and sewing
Me made blouse, New Look 6775, made with Anna Maria Horner voile, blogged here.
Me made cotton cowl, blogged here.
Wednesday, 8 June - FAIL!! No photo, No Me Made item!
I dropped the ball, will try not to let this happen again.
Thursday, 9 June - More sewing.
Me made denim skirt, also worn on day 6, blogged here.
Friday 10, June - Shopping and a play date
Me Made dress, New Look 6803, blogged here. I made this with quilting cotton, before I learnt that it isn't the best fabric to make garments with, but I like it all the same and it doesn't wrinkle much either.
Saturday, 11 June - All dressed up for a very good friends 40th birthday party
Me made dress, Burda Style Heidi, made with lovely Japanese cotton from Tessuti, blogged here.
Sunday, 12 June - Feeling less than awesome - comfort needed!
You can't see in this picture, but my Ugg Boots complete this super comfy look.
& who is the handsome model in your dressy post then?? Gorgeous ensembles, love Posie
