Drop waist and side pony!

Adele rockin' the 80s with a drop waist and side pony! Her preferred hair style most days - Uggh!

Little Adele needed some new dresses for day care. She picked this pink stripey fabric a few months back at The Remnant Warehouse and I promised to make her a dress. 

Like me, Adele prefers to wear dresses most days and not many of her current dresses have sleeves, which are required at day care in Australia. I didn't use a pattern for this dress. I just traced over one of her tees and played with the neckline and skirt after she tried it on.

While I had light thread on my over locker and cover stich machine, I made her a second dress with this knit from the Alannah Hill outlet in Melbourne.

She likes this one best as it is shorter, which is a bit of a worry. I think I might knock up a couple more for her this weekend as they do eat up those smaller pieces of knit fabric that hog space in my stash.
