Makes me want to quilt....

Now I have made a few quilts in my life. None are terrible difficult, but they still take a bit of time. This year, I was hoping to make three quilts, including;

• one for Adele's toddler bed, for which I already have a good stash of Heather Bailey Bijoux and Pop Garden. I really love this quilt made with lovely, rare Flea Market Fancy from Ashley (Film in the Fridge and think this is what I want for Adele. We are planning on moving Adele to a big bed soon, so with time slipping away, my mum has offered to make it for me - yay!
• a Momo 'It's a hoot' quilt for the spare bed, possibly taking inspiration from a quilt in the Practical Guide to Patchwork by Elizabeth Hartman and
• a scrappy quilt to help deal with the mountain of scraps that I've been collecting.

Today, as I was killing a little time while the kids played in the bath, I stumbled upon a couple of really awesome quilt patterns that really make me want sew quilts more.

This one is quirky and totally cool

And this one is so, so lovely!!

Gosh I wish I could make something like this, or maybe just get mum to make it for me....

Now off to sew for the business tonight. More fun sewing will hopefully come soon.
