This is how we're rolling today

Ollie woke today, feeling a little sick . He's insisted on sitting on the couch with a bowl, as he's 'gunna puke'. So James needs a bowl too. But James' doesn't fit on his head. So Adele took the bowl and put it on her head. James cried. I got James a bigger bowl (he's got the biggest head of the lot). So this is how we're rolling today. He doesn't look too sick does he?

I've had two kiddie free days, which have been bliss! But I fear today may be a long day!

I'm almost ready to show you a new frock too. I just need to hem it or, more importantly, figure out the best way to hem it. Any suggestions for hemming poly-charmeuse???

Lastly, I hit Spotlight briefly yesterday to pick up some interfacing for bonnets and stumbled across a sale on silk dupion - marked down from $29.95 to $8 per meter. I'm sure it's not the best silk dupion on the planet, but it's far better than the satin back shantung that I purchased for my next sewing project, the wedding frock. I've pictured it here with the Anna Maria Horner voile that I think I'll use for the contrast waist band.

Am soooo excited! Can't wait to get started!
