This past week has been quite busy, lots of sewing and interesting stuff to talk about, but one lost camera has meant no pictures to document it all. Who would have thought the camera would have been put away in the place where it's supposed to go???
Tomorrow I will aim to take a photo of the new dress I made myself. I wore it to a BBQ on Saturday and got quite slimed by a 7 month old girl eating pumpkin, but hopefully I can clean it up to show ya'll.
In the meantime here is some bread goodness from tonight's dinner.
I've always wanted to know how to make bread, just incase my family ever really needed it and there was only flour and yeast, etc in the house. Let me tell you it is super easy, I just followed this simple recipe.
If you've ever wanted to give bread making a go, I think you really should try it. It doesn't take too much time and effort at all and the results are superb. There's nothing like the smell of freshly baked bread!
For the record, this chorizo and lentil soup is pretty good too (I didn't add chickpeas as there were none in the pantry) and was also enjoyed tonight by the family.
Welcome back and yum, both the bread and soup combo sound delicious. I've never tried making bread but you make it sound easy so I may need to give it a crack.
ReplyDeleteholy crap... your such a dynamo. I can't wait to see the dress, its such a shame you got pumpkined... I very impressed with your bread plaiting too.
