My little girl.

The good thing about having a daughter that refuses to grow at the rate dictated by those silly medical growth charts or anywhere close to them for that matter, is that she fits into clothes much longer than I expect.

This dress was made and blogged here in September 2010.
She needs to wear shorts or bloomers underneath it now, but it's still most wearable.

Look how much she's grown!!

Thanks for your comments regarding sewing red pants. I have now half sewn a pair which will hopefully look like the Emerson Made ones. Also thanks for your comments about Santa. I think he will be making some matching linen to go with that lovely cot he sourced from the side of the road.

  1. Ella doesn't grow at the rate that those stupid charts tell me either. She still can fit into her 00 sized shorts and she has just turned 4. I am content with her growth and know that she always gets a lot of wear out of her clothes - whether they be handmade or bought. Plus great things come in small packages.

  2. I love that dress, and even more as a tunic. Yay for extended wearing!

  5. So sweet! We get loads of wear out of our clothes in this house too - being a slow grower isn't such a bad thing!

Thanks for leaving a comment. I love reading them, but don't always have the time to respond. Please email me if you have a pressing question :)
