Op shop gold!

I've been op shopping a bit recently, largely due to budget constraints and scored some great buys including a selection of vintage patterns in sizes for both the boys and baby Dell. I think I'll make James some overalls from the bottom left pattern and a bonnet for baby Dell from the pattern on the bottom right. The PJs are also super cute, but I'm not sure I'm that gung ho about sewing to make clothes for the kids to sleep in...

I think I'll also make this cute little dress for baby Dell, probably from this coral and white linen blend fabric from my stash. It's not an obvious choice, but I think the large scale print will look awesome on a little one.

A couple of weeks ago I hit the jackpot at a different local op shop and scored a great vintage bedsheet in a faux patchwork print which I promptly made into a cute dress for baby Dell. The light teal tablecloth with large floral print is also super cool and in great condition. I'm not sure yet if it'll be a skirt for me or a dress for a babe. I'll keep you posted.
